A petition against Anacondaz's performance in Yerevan did not prevent the band from playing their concerts.

The Astrakhan band Anacondaz played concerts in Yerevan despite a petition to cancel them. Meanwhile, the "Caucasian Knot" account on X remains blocked for over two days. The ban was prompted by a post about collecting signatures to cancel the band's Yerevan performances.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, a petition to cancel the Russian band's Yerevan concerts by February 16th has garnered over 140 signatures, despite Anacondaz's canceled performances in Georgia. The petition was prompted by photographs of the band members with artists who openly support the special military operation.

The Russian band Anacondaz held their first two concerts in Yerevan on February 18th and 19th, and a third performance is scheduled for today at 7:00 PM Moscow time. Earlier, an Armenian citizen published a petition against the musicians' performance on Change.org. Before closing, the petition had already garnered 222 signatures.

On February 20, the band posted clips of their Yerevan concerts on their Telegram channel; the venue was packed, according to video recordings.

According to information on the show4me website, where tickets are sold, an additional concert is scheduled for February 22 at the Hard Rock Cafe. Tickets range from 18,000 to 36,000 drams (US$47 to $95). At least 47 people have purchased them.

It's worth noting that the Astrakhan band Anacondaz's concert, scheduled for July 8, 2023, in Rostov-on-Don, was canceled due to the musicians' previous criticism of the SVO. Anacondaz's concerts have also been canceled in other Russian cities. However, in January 2026, the band members posed for a photo with artists who openly support the military operation against Ukraine: Radio Tapok, Wildways, and members of the band "Slot." This photo and the band's subsequent actions prompted the creation of a petition against their performance in Yerevan.

As a reminder, the "Caucasian Knot" account on the X platform was blocked after publishing a post about collecting signatures to cancel Anacondaz's concert in Yerevan. A request to unblock the account was denied; it remains blocked for more than 2.5 days.
