Homes in Rostov Oblast damaged by drone attack

Drone attacks were recorded overnight in three cities and nine districts of the Rostov region, damaging roofs and windows in some homes.

As reported by the " Caucasian Knot ," a drone attack was recorded last night in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Rostov-on-Don, the city's mayor reported. He said there were no injuries.

Rostov-on-Don, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as the Kamensky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Sholokhovsky, Tatsinsky, Tarasovsky, Morozovsky, and Konstantinovsky districts of the Rostov Region were attacked by drones overnight, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel . "Fortunately, there were no casualties," he wrote.

The roof of a private house was damaged.

The consequences of the attacks were recorded in Rostov-on-Don, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Kamensky and Tarasovsky districts.

"Two cars parked near a private home caught fire in Rostov. The owner, who attempted to extinguish the fire himself, suffered a burn to his hand. He received medical attention but refused hospitalization. The fire was extinguished by the responding fire brigade. The roof of a private home on Vsesoyuznaya Street was damaged," the governor reported.

According to him, the roof of a private home was also damaged in the village of Derkul in the Tarasovsky District. Furthermore, "drone fragments fell" on private properties in the village of Nizhnemityakin in the Tarasovsky District, in Staraya Stanitsa and Malaya Kamenka in the Kamensky District, and in the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky microdistrict.

"Several buildings suffered partial damage to their windows. Municipal commissions will begin a detailed assessment and recording of the damage this morning. We will certainly provide assistance to residents," the statement reads.

As a reminder, on November 25, a drone attack in Taganrog and the village of Bessergenevskaya killed three people and wounded eight more. A 76-year-old Taganrog resident, who suffered serious injuries, later died in the hospital, bringing the death toll to four .

By December 1, affected residents had submitted 635 applications for one-time payments and 20 for financial assistance for total property loss. Two weeks after the attack, residents complained on December 10, many apartments remain without glass . The city administration reported that 283 of the 665 windows had been restored.
