Trepashkin's trial postponed till November 7

The consideration of the cassation complaint of Mikhail Trepashkin, ex-FSB officer, appointed for today at the Sverdlovsk Regional Court against the ruling on toughening his custody conditions has failed again. The Court has re-appointed it on November 7. Lyubov Kosik, the convict's advocate, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.

Currently, Mr Trepashkin is kept in SIZO-1 (investigatory detention facility) of Ekaterinburg. Pending consideration of his case, he has been behind the bars for over seven months already: sometimes in the Ekaterinburg SIZO, sometimes in Corrective Colony No. 13 of Nizhni Tagil, most of the time - in a solitary cell.

The defence treats this situation as a violation of the law and Trepashkin's rights, as according to his verdict he should serve his term at a colony-settlement.
