More than 30 drones destroyed in two regions of southern Russia

Over the night, the military shot down 19 drones launched from Ukraine in the Rostov region, and another 13 drones were destroyed in the Volgograd region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night the military destroyed drones in the Millerovsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky, Tarasovsky districts and in Shakhty, said acting governor Yuri Slyusar. He did not specify how many drones were destroyed.

Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed 39 drones launched from Ukraine, of which 19 were shot down in the Rostov region, 13 in the Volgograd region. The remaining seven drones were shot down in Crimea, in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Samara regions, the Defense Ministry reported on its Telegram channel.

In the Volgograd region, the city of Volzhsky, as well as the Surovikinsky and Kalachevsky districts, were attacked by UAVs. In the Kalachevsky district, traffic on the bridge over the Don was temporarily restricted "to eliminate the UAV wreckage." There were also "dry grass fires," no one was hurt. Traffic on the bridge was resumed in the morning, the regional administration reported on its Telegram channel.

Recall that on June 26, drones were shot down in the Neklinovsky and Matveyevo-Kurgansky districts of the Rostov region. No one was hurt.

On the night of June 25, drones were shot down in Azov, Taganrog, and the Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky district. In Azov, the roof of a grain warehouse in the port was damaged, and in Taganrog, the building of the Avangard sports complex, a school, and two houses were damaged.

Later that day, authorities reported that the Myasnikovsky and Neklinovsky districts had also been attacked by drones.

On the night of June 10, in the Volgograd and Rostov regions, the military neutralized six drones.
