Anapa resident suspected of collaborating with Ukrainian intelligence services

The police detained a resident of Anapa suspected of collaborating with the Ukrainian intelligence services, the FSB reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 8, the FSB reported that law enforcers detained a resident of Volgograd who planned to travel to Ukraine and participate in the hostilities against Russia. The case was instituted under the article on high treason.

According to the version voiced by the FSB Department for the Krasnodar Territory, the resident of Anapa contacted an intelligence representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (MoD) and “agreed to collect and transmit information about the activities of the Russian Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies in the Krasnodar Territory,” the “Kommersant” reports. The suspect faces from three to eight years of imprisonment.
