Ten Moslems arrested during special operation in Azerbaijan

As a result of a joint operation of the Ministry of National Security (MNS) and the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Fighting Organized Crime, accomplished in the village of Khudat of the Khachmaz District, religious literature was confiscated from the houses of several residents. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the police of the Khachmaz District that about ten persons had been detained.

Meanwhile, operations against believers were also undertaken in other districts of the country. In the opinion of local experts, attacks on the believers have acquired mass character after the article of the head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mekhtiev entitled "The State and Society during Globalization."

We remind you that according to the messages that arrive to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the Zagatala District of Azerbaijan, the police are again shaving young men's beards.
