Businessman Musa Aushev, a brother of oppositionist and human rights defender Maksharip Aushev, whose murder in 2009 remained unsolved, died after being attacked by unidentified people. Sources associated the killing with a conflict around a land plot.

The incident took place in the centre of Nazran, where unidentified persons opened fire on Musa Aushev, a director of a construction company, when he entered a store. The man died as a result of a severe wound, the “Interfax” reports today.

Musa Aushev was the director of the construction company engaged in the construction of social facilities, schools, kindergartens, and road construction.
