Authorities of Stavropol Territory announce death of a compatriot in Ukraine

Danil Tarakanov, a military man from the Stavropol Territory, perished in Ukraine during the special military operation, the head of the Soviet Urban District of the Stavropol Territory reported. Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 56 Stavropol residents there has been officially confirmed.

Danil Tarakanov, a 21-year-old military man from the Stavropol Territory, perished in Ukraine, Sergey Voronkov, the head of the Soviet Urban District of the Stavropol Territory, reports in his Telegram channel today. In his post, the official offers his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The “Caucasian Knot” runs a list of names of natives of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) and the Southern Federal District (SFD) who perished during the special military operation in Ukraine. The list is compiled on the basis of the data officially confirmed by the regional authorities.

Since the beginning of the special military operation by September 1, the deaths in Ukraine of at least 654 residents of the southern regions of Russia, including 440 natives of Northern Caucasus and 214 residents of the SFD, have been officially confirmed. Most of the perished were natives of Dagestan: the regional authorities reported about the deaths of at least 205 natives of the republic.
