Moscow deputy apologizes to elderly Chechen woman

The Internet has posted a video by Alexander Zakuskin, the head of the council of deputies of the Meschansky District of Moscow, in which he apologizes to an elderly Chechen woman, Salima Yusupkhadjieva, for the conflict that occurred near the mosque. Because of the received death threats, the deputy was forced to change his residence and wrote an application to the police.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 12, the above Alexander Zakuskin, in a conversation with Adam Delimkhanov, an adviser to the head of Chechnya, who phoned him, admitted that he had "overdone it" during the incident with an elderly Chechen woman, Salima Yusupkhadjieva, and promised to apologize.

Salima Yusupkhadjieva, who was selling sausages outside the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, was forced to call an ambulance after Alexander Zakuskin sprayed something in her face.

Alexander Zakuskin has apologized to Salima Yusupkhadjieva. On February 13, a video of his appeal was posted, in particular, on the KavkazPress YouTube channel.

The apology video itself is only 12 seconds long. "On February 10, I had a domestic conflict with Salima Abdurashidovna Yusupkhadjieva. I would like to apologize to her," Zakuskin said, adding: "I would like to emphasize once again that the conflict is purely domestic in nature, and not an interethnic one, as many try to present it."

Alexander Zakuskin also lodged an application to the police. After he began receiving death threats in social networks, he was forced to change his residence, the "Lenta.ru" writes.
