Chechen native apologizes to Ramzan Kadyrov for beating of Moscow blogger

Chechen blogger Zelimkhan Zelimkhanov apologized to Ramzan Kadyrov, State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov, and Moscow blogger Svyatoslav Kovalenko for an incident with beating of the latter. The authorities of Chechnya have promised that Zelimkhan Zelimkhanov "will be severely punished."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 12, Moscow blogger Svyatoslav Kovalenko claimed that he had been beaten by a group of people after his conflict with a Chechen blogger, well-known for compelling people to apologies.

"Adam Delimkhanov has noted that blogger Zelimkhan Zelimkhanov committed an act unworthy of a Chechen native," the "Grozny" TV Channel noted on Instagram.

Zelimkhan Zelimkhanov emphasized that he first of all had apologized to the authorities of Chechnya and Adam Delimkhanov. The Chechen blogger explained his actions with emotions.

Svyatoslav Kovalenko has blogs on Instagram and on YouTube. The recent videos posted on his pages describe his trainings and his participation in a "battle on bare fists."

Zelimkhan Zelimkhanov is well-known for the fact that heroes of his stories voice apologies.

Let us remind you that on March 16, the "Grozny" TV Channel reported about Chechen law enforcers who found in Moscow and forced 47 natives of the republic to return to their homeland. The number of the returned Chechen natives included "drug addicts, hooligans, and thieves", whom their relatives complained about. Relatives of the Chechen natives returned to the republic apologized for their behaviour and thanked the law enforcers for the measures taken. The apologies were voiced under pressure, human rights defenders suggested.
