The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 20, in Tbilisi, protesters demanded resignation of the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the State Security Service (SSS). They tried to break through the police cordon and enter the yard of the parliament, after which a mass brawl broke out of protesters with policemen, who used tear gas and rubber bullets.

There are victims among activists, Beslan Kmuzov, a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, among them. He said that he was wounded in his head with a rubber bullet. According to his story, the wound is not serious; he was hospitalized until the morning.

Let us remind you that at the sitting of the parliamentary assembly, held in the session hall of the Georgian Parliament, Sergey Gavrilov, a Russian State Duma MP sat in the chair of the Georgian Speaker, which angered some Georgian MPs. They announced the start of the Speaker's impeachment procedure, and demanded to expel the Russian delegation from the building, citing the fact that "Russia had occupied the territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia." The protesters in Tbilisi supported their MPs; they were not stopped by the fact that the Russian delegation decided to leave Georgia.
