Ramazan Abdulatipov's statement about bribe shows his confidence in support from Kremlin

The law enforcement agencies will not check the statement of the Dagestani leader that he gave a bribe, since in Dagestan, the law acts selectively. This was declared by lawyers. The ratings of Ramazan Abdulatipov are unlikely to fall down, since his possible dismissal depends not on voters, but on his loyalty to the Kremlin, note local journalists.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 26, at the forum "New Quality New Goals" held in Makhachkala, the leader of Dagestan stated that he had to bribe officials of the "Rosobrnadzor" (Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science) when he was a rector of a university.

Meanwhile, any public communication, especially in the media, about a committed crime is the reason for an investigation to be carried out by an inquiry officer, investigator, or prosecutor. This was reported by advocate Biyakai Magomedov, who referred to Part 2 of Article 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.

However, according to Biyakai Magomedov, no investigator will dare to start a check after the Ramazan Abdulatipov's statement even in case if such an appropriate claim is received.

Arsen Magomedov, another lawyer, believes that the statement voiced by Ramazan Abdulatipov should not be understood unequivocally.

"Maybe, he meant, for example, a box of chocolate or a bouquet of flowers, which in principle is allowed," said the lawyer. He has explained that the law allows presenting gifts worth up to 3000 roubles.

According to Milrad Fatullaev, the editor-in-chief of the RIA "Derbent", the leader of Dagestan does not care about the attitude of the public towards him, since "the Dagestani people are not the Ramazan Abdulatipov's employer."

"His employers are certain persons in the Vladimir Putin's administration," stated Milrad Fatullaev.
