In case of attack on Vladislav Ryazantsev, forensic examination to be held without involvement of victim

On January 17, Vladislav Ryazantsev, a correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot", who was attacked in Rostov-on-Don, received the decision on appointment of forensic medical examination to be carried out without his involvement.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 10, Vladislav Ryazantsev was beaten near the building of the government of the Rostov Region. The journalist was attacked by five men, who fled after appearance of passers-by. The case of the attack is being investigated under the criminal article about beatings.

On January 17, investigator questioned Vladislav Ryazantsev and handed him over a copy of the resolution on institution of criminal proceedings.

Besides, a forensic examination has been appointed in the case. Meanwhile, it will be held without involvement of the journalist, and experts will examine X-ray pictures of his hand.

In connection with the attack on him, Vladislav Ryazantsev twice addressed an emergency station: he went there immediately after the beating and on the other day. He was diagnosed with injuries and possible closed traumatic brain injury. Meanwhile, according to the journalist, physicians examined him in a hurry. He doubted the diagnosis and visited his district polyclinic. X-ray pictures showed that Vladislav Ryazantsev got his right hand broken. Physicians from the district polyclinic also confirmed the diagnosis of closed traumatic brain injury.
