Suspected militant killed in Kaspiysk

A man, who opened fire on law enforcers, was shot dead in Kaspiysk, said a law enforcement source.

The shootout occurred in Kaspiysk today around the midday. As a result, an armed man, who opened fire on law enforcers, was killed, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

The casualty is suspected of involvement in the armed underground, the "Chernovik" (Draft) writes, citing its Dagestani law enforcement source.

None of the law enforcers was hurt, the TASS reports.
