Power agents report prevention of attempt on Imam Tsechoev

An attempt was being prepared on Isa Tsechoev, the Imam of the Ali-Yurt mosque, such preliminary data was spread by an Ingush law enforcement source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, near the mosque in the village of Ali-Yurt, power agents cordoned off the area around a car, in which some explosive was found. In the afternoon, power agents took away and destroyed the explosive device they found in the car parked near the mosque in the village of Ali-Yurt, a law enforcement source has reported.

The car with an explosive device belongs to a resident of Chechnya. The driver was recorded by surveillance cameras, but not identified yet, report sources from the law enforcement bodies.

According to preliminary data, the unidentified criminals, who planted the bomb into the car, had plotted an attempt on Isa Tsechoev, the Imam of the Ali-Yurt mosque, the TASS has reported today, citing its source from law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.

Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "Mashr" and the author of the blog he runs on the "Caucasian Knot", also believes that the unidentified criminals prepared an attempt on Imam Isa Tsechoev. "This is an attempt on Isa Tsechoev and parishioners of the Ali-Yurt mosque. This is how I interpret the information about the mined car near the mosque in Ali-Yurt," Mr Mutsolgov has written today in his post.
