In Moscow, march in Boris Nemtsov's memory attended by 24,000 people, "White Counter" reports

On February 27, in Moscow, according to the organization "White Counter", more than 24,000 people came to a rally-march in memory of Boris Nemtsov. The police have reported that the rally was attended by 7500 people.

Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27, 2015 in central Moscow. In connection with the murder, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained; the figurants in the case are also Ruslan Geremeev and Ruslan Mukhudinov, officers of the Chechen battalion "Sever" (North). Relatives and supporters of Boris Nemtsov believe that the real customers of the murder have not yet been established.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 27, actions in memory of Boris Nemtsov were held in a number of Russian cities, including such southern cities as Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, and Sochi. In Saint Petersburg, the action in memory of Boris Nemtsov was attended by 3000 people.

The information about more than 24,000 participants of the action in Moscow has been disseminated after the march by the organization "White Counter", which counts the number of participants of rallies. To reach the place of the action, people had to pass through metal detectors, and at some moment, the police suddenly closed the entrance to the place of the march. The entrance was reopened only after the talks with the organizers, the "RBC" reports with reference to the "White Counter".

According to opposition politician Alexei Navalny, the scale of the action shows that the topic of investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov is very important for Russian citizens. Alexei Navalny does not lose hope that the crime will be solved, the "Echo of Moscow" reports.
