Osmanov supporters urge Abdulatipov to settle conflict in Buynaksk

The split among the Deputies of the City Assembly of Buynaksk from the "Party of Russia's Veterans" should be overcome through a discussion with the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, supporters of Osman Osmanov announced on February 1 at a press conference; before the conflict, the above party saw him as a protégé to the post of the head of the city.

The press conference of Deputies of the Buynaksk City Assembly from the "Party of Russia's Veterans", who support Osman Osmanov, was held at the office of the newspaper "Chernovik" in Makhachkala, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The Deputies began the press conference by stating that the authorities and law enforcement bodies failed to respond to their appeals and demands. Osmanov supporters began sending their appeals to the authorities in September 2015, disagreeing with the fact that Zakarya Amirov was appointed the acting head of Buynaksk.

"We held the elections by investing plenty of energy and efforts to conduct them fairly, not according to earlier scenarios. People saw this and came to the polls understanding that they could really decide for whom to vote," Alibek Zainudinov said at the press conference.

"And now Zakarya Amirov has come to everything ready. But people didn't vote for him; they voted for Deputies and Osman Osmanov," said Zainudinov.

Osmanov supporters offer to resolve the conflict through a meeting of Buynaksk Deputies with the republic's leader Ramazan Abdulatipov.
