Two residents of Nardaran detained after searches
In the Azerbaijani village of Nardaran, policemen discovered ammunitions in the houses of the detained villagers.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on December 18, local resident Natiq Kerimov reported about the detentions of several people in Nardaran. Of them, Gusein Aliev, a son of Alikram Aliev, the first leader of the Islamic Party, was arrested by the court for 30 days.
The police are still engaged in the special operation in Nardaran, where on November 26, the detentions of activists of the "Muslim Unity" movement provoked riots. As a result of the clashes between believers and law enforcers, seven persons were killed. On December 3, Ramil Usubov, Minister of Internal Affairs, reported on the arrest of 32 people in Nardaran. The detention and searches were underway during the other days.
In the course of the special operation in Nardaran, the police of the Sabunchu District detained 17-year-old Balaali Tasim oglu Gumbatov and 49-year-old Sardar Zeinalabdin oglu Bunyatov, in whose houses ammunitions had been found. This has been reported today by the law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan.
