Picket against TV propaganda held in Rostov-on-Don

State TV channels are spreading propaganda and blame foreign countries for all Russia's problems, but never speak about internal reasons of economic decline and rising prices in the country, the picketers in Rostov-on-Don have stated.

"We want to attract citizens' attention to the rampant propaganda by Russian television, which accuses external enemies, namely, Merkel, Obama and others, of all our problems, instead of speaking about the Russian authorities, which had admitted conditions for economic decline and rising prices," Stanislav, the organizer of the picket, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "By means of our posters we point out the absurdity of the situation."

We should not blame other countries for everything, said Nikolai Kladovoy, another participant of the picket.

"Russia has pretty plenty of internal enemies. The goal of the current authorities is to confuse the society and deprive it of objective benchmarks," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The picket was coordinated with the city administration and passed without detentions.
