Dagestani woman killed in shootout

In the Karabudakhkent District, the conflict between members of two families has resulted in a shootout, in which a local resident was killed.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan, in the evening of November 11, in the village of Ullubiyaul, a conflict occurred between groups of relatives of two local residents. The verbal altercation turned into a shootout.

During the incident, a woman, born in 1960, got a gunshot wound in the abdomen and died at the place.

Field investigators are engaged in establishing the circumstances of the conflict and persons involved in it. Besides, they are taking measures to arrest the killers of the women, the website of the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office reports.

The investigation into the incident is being carried out under Article "Murder" (Part 1, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), "Act of disorderly conduct committed by prior agreement" (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code), and "Illegal arms trafficking" (Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code). The maximum aggregate sentence under the above articles can reach 26 years of imprisonment.
