"Mashr" leader reports explosion near house of former Chief Physician of Malgobek Hospital

An explosion has occurred in the yard of the house of Magomed Buzurtanov, the former Chief Physician of the Malgobek Central Republic’s Hospital (CRH), who became involved in the case of embezzlement of budget funds on a large scale. A crater was formed at the place of the explosion, and the windows in the house were damaged. This was reported by Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the human rights organization "Mashr".

The explosion occurred at night of September 19. At the same night, Magomed Buzurtanov contacted the Malgobek police station and filed a complaint about the incident. The police began an inspection, the leader of the "Mashr" wrote in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot".

Earlier, Khasan Buzurtanov, the father of the former Chief Physician of the Malgobek CRH, has reported on the threats against his son. According to Khasan Buzurtanov, his son fell a victim to provocations. The father believes the provocations were aimed at dismissal of his son from the post of the Chief Physician. He also claims that his son became involved in the case on false charge.

The appeal of Khasan Buzurtanov to the Ingush human rights organization "Mashr" with a request to assist in establishing the truth in the case against his son was published in the blog of the leader of the "Mashr" on the "Caucasian Knot" on September 19.
