Savchenko's advocate publishes documents to prove her alibi
The advocate Mark Feigin, who is representing at the Donetsk City Court of the Rostov Region the interests of the Ukrainian servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko, has posted on his website the conclusion of the examination of the video, which, in his opinion, confirms her innocence.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 13, the Russian General Prosecutor's Office approved the indictment and sent the case of Nadezhda Savchenko to the court. The Ukrainian servicewoman is accused of involvement in the murder of two employees of the VGTRK (All-Russian State TV and Radio Company) near Lugansk, and of an illegal border crossing.
On August 7, Mark Feigin posted in his website on the Internet materials of the examination of the video record, made, according to his version, in the morning on June 17, 2014, during the fight near Lugansk by a militia Egor Russkiy. According to his story, Savchenko was captured at 10:30 a.m., while it was reported that Russian journalists perished at 12:00 a.m.
"It is evident from the video that Nadezhda Savchenko was already a prisoner of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR). Since that moment, her alibi starts, which confirms that she could not correct the fire at Russian journalists," the advocate has commented the publication of documents.
