Power agents identify two Nazran casualties

The investigating team has identified two people, shot dead during a special operation in Nazran.

Let us remind you that today at 4:50 a.m. Moscow time the Nasyr-Kort District of Nazran was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime. As explained by the spokesman of the republic's operative headquarters, power agents are searching for militants in the four streets covered by the CTO regime.

At about 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, a law enforcement source informed that during the CTO they killed a man and a woman, who rendered armed resistance to federal forces.

The casualties were identified as Ali Aliev, 43, a resident of the Nasyr-Kort District of Nazran, and his wife Leyla Alieva, 36, the TASS quoted a republic's law enforcement source at 8:50 a.m. Moscow time.

According to preliminary data, the casualties were recruiting young people from Northern Caucasus to war in Syria. Also, the source reported that the Aliev spouse did not live in Ingushetia permanently. According to his data, earlier they were at war in the territory of Syria. He added that both casualties HIV-infected.

After the end of the active phase of the CTO, at 7:30 a.m., the head of the operative headquarters of Ingushetia decided to cancel the CTO regime.
