Ramzan Kadyrov has been proclaimed an "honorary railway worker".

The Deputy Director General of Russian Railways, Ivan Kolesnikov, presented the "Honorary Railway Worker" badge to the head of Chechnya, whose collection includes dozens of industry awards and honorary titles.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in early October, Ramzan Kadyrov received the title of army general and reached the effective ceiling of his military career in modern Russia, where the title of marshal has not been awarded to anyone since 1997. On October 7, Kadyrov added to his collection of awards the badge "Honorary Architect of Russia".

Today, Kadyrov was awarded another honorary badge during the ceremony of naming the railway station Grozny after Akhmat Kadyrov. The decree on this naming was signed by Vladimir Putin on September 7, justifying the decision by Kadyrov Sr.'s "special merits to the Fatherland". Ramzan Kadyrov then stated that this has "truly historical significance" for the entire Chechen people.

Deputy General Director of Russian Railways Ivan Kolesnikov stated that the "Honorary Railway Worker" badge is awarded to Kadyrov "for his significant contribution to the development and achievement of high results in railway transport activities," reports the pro-government news agency "Chechnya Today".

"That great work, during which the railways were restored, electrification, centralization, stations, locomotive depots – this is all the great work that was started by Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov. And we, railway workers, remember this, know this, and will never forget it," Kolesnikov's words are quoted by "Grozny-Inform".

Ramzan Kadyrov himself reported in his Telegram channel about another "truly historical event": the railway station Grozny updated its sign and installed a memorial plaque with the name of Akhmat Kadyrov.

"During the event, Ivan Nikolaevich [Kolesnikov] presented me with the badge "Honorary Railway Worker of JSC 'Russian Railways'" in accordance with the order of General Director Oleg Belozerov. After that, we, along with the esteemed guest, unveiled the memorial annotation plaque and the updated illuminated sign of the station complex," he wrote.

Ramzan Kadyrov has dozens of other awards and titles, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Kadyrov and his awards". A year ago, in October 2025, he received a medal for his contribution to the development of farming, and in April 2026, he was awarded first a medal "For Contribution to the Development of Science", and then the order "For Special Contribution to the Development of the Cement Industry of the Russian Federation".

In February 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov became the first holder of the title of Hero of Chechnya. This title is awarded by the head of Chechnya, according to a decree signed by Kadyrov himself. In October 2025, on the occasion of Kadyrov's birthday, he was awarded this title for the second time. The decree on the award was signed by Kadyrov himself.
