Bikers cordon off hospital with Deni Mirzoev
In Moscow, about a hundred bikers are on duty near the 20th hospital, where Deni Mirzoev, a resident of Grozny, receives medical treatment. Deni Mirzoev was involved in the road traffic accident in Kutuzovsky Avenue in Moscow, as a result of which a biker was killed.
On May 22, a car with Chechen state license plates hit a biker, who was standing at the curb of Kutuzovsky Avenue. According to investigators, the car was driven by Deni Mirzoev, who was hospitalized after the road traffic accident. On the same day, several hundred bikers approached the building of the Moscow Police and filed a complaint demanding to carry out the investigation into the road traffic accidents. On May 23, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow received a motion from the investigating authorities to take Deni Mirzoev in custody. On May 24, the doctors' opinion reported on impossibility to bring the defendant to the court. The court has returned the motion for the arrest to the investigators.
"About a hundred our activists have cordoned off the hospital No. 20. We fear that Deni Mirzoev can be set free in connection with the expiration of the detention term and thus he would be able to avoid justice. We will not allow that," said Arseny Raisky, a coordinator of the bikers' community.
According to Arseny Raisky, the bikers are going to be on duty around the hospital as long as officials voice "some distinct guarantees" that Deni Mirzoev will be brought to justice, the "Interfax" reports.
