Investigators demand to arrest Grozny resident involved in road accident in centre of Moscow
The Tverskoy District Court has received a motion from the investigating authorities to take in custody Deni Mirzoev, a resident of Grozny, an alleged participant of the road traffic accident in Kutuzovsky Avenue in Moscow, as a result of which a biker was killed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 22, a BMW X6 car with Chechen state license plates hit and killed a biker, who was standing at the curb in Kutuzovsky Avenue. According to law enforcers, the car was driven by the man named Deni Mirzoev. Several hundred bikers have driven to the building of the Moscow Police and filed a complaint demanding to investigate the road traffic accident.
According to Anastasiya Dzyurko, the press secretary of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow, the investigators request to arrest Deni Mirzoev. Anastasiya Dzyurko has reported that in case if Deni Mirzoev is brought to the court, then the investigators' motion will be considered.
"In case if his bringing to the court is impossible because of the health state of the defendant, then the materials will be returned to the investigators," Anastasiya Dzyurko has explained.
Earlier, the resident of Grozny has claimed that he did not see the biker at the moment of the road traffic accident and that he was driving the car at a speed of 40-60 kilometers per hour.
