    Two policemen injured in explosion in Ingushetia

    In Ingushetia, two policemen got contused as a result of the explosion of an unidentified improvised explosive device (IED).

    According to an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Ingushetia, the incident has occurred today at about 4:00 p.m. Moscow time not far from the village of Plievo of the Nazran District, close to the Plievo-Achaluki road.

    "In that area, staff members of the Nazran ROVD (District Interior Division) were conducting operative and search activities," the MIA's official has stated as quoted by the "TASS".

    "At about 5:00 p.m. Moscow time, an explosion of an unidentified explosive device occurred during operational and search activities carried out in the forest area between the villages of Plievo and Achaluki," Zhabrail Shaukhalov has stated.

    As a result of the explosion, two policemen were contused, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to Zhabrail Shaukhalov, the chief of the press service of the Ingush MIA.
