Moscow bikers demand to take control over investigation into fatal road traffic accident involving Chechen car
Biker Vitaly Grishin died in Moscow being hit by a car with Chechen state license plates. Local bikers have organized a moto rally to draw attention to the road traffic accident and appealed to Anatoly Yakunin, the chief of the Moscow Police, with a request to take the investigation under his personal control.
The incident has occurred last night in Kutuzovsky Avenue. According to investigators, a BMW X6 car hit Vitaly Grishin, born in 1989, when he stood at the curb.
In the afternoon, several hundred bikers organized a motor race. They stared their action from Vorobyevy Gory and drove up to the building of the Moscow Police, where they filed a complaint with a request to investigate the road traffic accident. The law enforcers have registered the bikers' complaint and reported about the progress of the investigation, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to an official from the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
In their complaint, the bikers called on the authorities to carry out the objective investigation into the circumstances of the road traffic accident and asked Anatoly Yakunin to take the situation under his special control, the MK" reports with reference to Arseny Raisky, a coordinator of the independent Moscow bikers' community.
According to the preliminary information, the car involved in the fatal road traffic accident was driven by a man named Deni Mirzoev.
