Advocate of Dadaev's family files complaint against investigator's actions

Zaurbek Sadakhanov, an advocate of Djambulat Dadaev's family, has lodged a complaint against an official's actions in response to the application to present for reviewing the materials of the cancelled criminal case about a special operation conducted in Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Dadaev, who had been on the federal wanted list on suspicion of shelling an entrepreneur in Stavropol, was killed in Grozny on April 19. The operation was conducted by employees of the Chief Department for the Stavropol Territory of the Russian MIA. On May 6, the above advocate turned to the Chief Investigating Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) demanding to acquaint him with the materials of the cancelled criminal case about that special operation.

The complaint states that the investigator, whom Sadakhanov had addressed, violated the procedural deadline for responding to the application; therefore, the advocate asked "to recognize the illegality of the investigator's inaction."

It should be noted here that shortly after his conflict with Stavropol power agents, Kadyrov announced his readiness to step down. However, the experts, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", believe that Kadyrov's statement about his resignation was mostly a play with the public.
