In Sochi, Saveliev family members leave trial on their eviction in protest

In Sochi, at the court session held on April 17 on the case to evict Saveliev family members from a vacant cottage occupied by them in the village for Olympic settlers, the court has dismissed all the motions filed by the defendants. The Saveliev family members left the courtroom in protest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 17, the Road Management Department "Chernomorye" filed a claim to evict the Saveliev family members from a cottage occupied by them in the village for Olympic settlers in Sochi. On March 23, the Saveliev family members filed a counterclaim to oblige the Road Management Department "Chernomorye" to conclude with them an agreement for social rent of the cottage. On April 9, the court refused to accept the counterclaim and postponed the court session for April 17.

On April 17, the Adler District Court of Sochi dismissed all the motions filed by the Saveliev family members and refused them in their right to examine the case materials. As a result, the Saveliev family members declared their distrust of the judge and left the courtroom in protest against his actions, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Lyudmila Savelieva, the head of the Saveliev family, has appealed to Mark Bolshedvorsky, the Prosecutor of Sochi, who on April 17 with the commission examined the vacant cottages in Adler designed for Olympic settlers. Lyudmila Savelieva has complained to the Sochi Prosecutor about the violation of the law and human rights committed in the course of the trial, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Lyudmila Savelieva.
