"Kommersant": witness to Boris Nemtsov's murder does not confirm testimony of Zaur Dadaev

Zaur Dadaev does not fit the description of the Boris Nemtsov's killer, given by one of the witnesses to the crime. According to the witness, the killer used a Russian car to leave the place of the crime. This was stated by the article written by Sergey Mashkin published by the newspaper "Kommersant".

The "Kommersant" reports with reference to a source close to the investigation that the witness, who described a man fleeing from the place of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, was a 27-year-old manager of a local company.

According to the witness, the suspected killer was a man of medium height, thin, with dark, possibly, wavy hair.

"This description does not match the exterior of Zaur Dadaev accused of the murder, since he is a large athletic man," the article's author writes.

Besides, according to the witness, the man, who was fleeing from the place, sat in the back seat of a Russian car, which looked like a white Priora car; although later, the investigators revealed that the killers escaped in a ZAZ Sens car.

"Advocates plant to use inconsistencies in the testimonies given by Zaur Dadaev, who admitted his guilt, and witness Evgeny as an argument that their client was not involved in the murder. The defenders suggest that the defendant could incriminate himself," the article stresses.

It should be noted that, according to Ivan Gerasimov, an advocate of Zaur Dadaev, his client did not reject his confession, since he was not re-interrogated yet. At present, the defenders check a possible alibi of Zaur Dadaev.
