Defence of Anzor Gubashev, figurant in Nemtsov's death case, appeals against his arrest
The advocate of Anzor Gubashev, who is accused of involvement in the murder of Boris Nemtsov, has filed a complaint against his arrest. In total, to date, the court has received three appeals on the case – from the advocates of Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, Anzor Gubashev and Khamzat Bakhaev.
On March 8, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested all the five figurants, allegedly involved in killing Nemtsov: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Shagid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. They refuse to plead guilty and disagree with the chosen measure of their freedom restraint.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 10, Sofya Rubasskaya, the defender of Khamzat Bakhaev, appealed against her client's arrest. There was also information about similar appeals filed by the advocates of Shagid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.
On March 10, only Bakhaev's complaint was received. Today, two more appeals have been filed, said Anna Fadeeva, the press secretary of the Basmanny Court, the TASS reports. According to her story, no complaints from the defence of Zaur Dadaev and Shagid Gubashev have arrived yet.
