Dadaev explains his initial confession of killing Nemtsov by power agents' blackmail of Yusupov
Zaur Dadaev has confirmed the data, earlier published by the "Caucasian Knot" that his friend Ruslan Yusupov was detained together with him. According to his version, the power agents demanded his confession of killing Nemtsov in exchange for Yusupov's release.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at the moment of Dadaev's detention, his colleague from the battalion "Sever" Ruslan Yusupov (his name was then given as Rustam) was in his car and was also detained. This was reported on March 8 by Kheda Saratova, the head of the independent news agency "Objective", with reference to Dadaev's relative. At the same time, Yusupov has not been mentioned yet in the official reports on the case of Nemtsov.
During the meeting at the "Lefortovo" with members of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) Zaur Dadaev also expressed his doubt that Beslan Shavanov, whose death while detention in Grozny was reported by power agents on March 8, blew him up by a grenade.
Let us remind you that, according to law enforcers, on March 7, in an apartment of a high-rise block of flats in Grozny, a local resident was blocked by power agents, who was later fatally wounded by a grenade explosion. The casualty was identified as the 30-year-old Bislan (Beslan) Shavanov. It became known later that he had spent 10 years in the battalion "Sever" and retired from there for health reasons.
