    Armenia's MoD states liquidation of subversive group on border with Azerbaijan

    An Azerbaijani subversive group was almost completely liquidated while trying to attack military positions of the Armenian armed forces in the pre-border Tavush Region, Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman of the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD), has stated today, adding that the Armenian party suffered no losses.

    According to Artsrun Ovannisyan, the diversionary attack against a number of positions of Armenian servicemen was undertaken today at midday local time.

    So far, there are no comments on the above statement from the Azerbaijani part. In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD said that within the last 24 hours Armenian armed forces made more than 80 shelling attacks. Besides, the MoD of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) reported 250 violations of the ceasefire by Azerbaijani militaries during the last night.
