ICRF names suspect of killing Dagestani boxer Rasul Gadjimagomedov

The Investigating Division for the Western District of Krasnodar of the Territorial Investigating Department (ID) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has put a certain Rustam-Bek Kurbanov, 23, on the federal wanted list. Kurbanov is suspected of killing Rasul Gadjimagomedov, a native of Dagestan and a member of the Russian national youth boxing team. This was reported by the ID of the ICRF for the Krasnodar Territory.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on July 13 the 20-year-old Dagestani athlete Rasul Gadjimagomedov was found dead in a pedestrian crossing in Krasnaya Street in Krasnodar with a stab wound in his neck. According to investigators, the crime was preceded by a conflict over some debt.

As specified by the "Yugopolis", the amount of the debt that had caused the conflict was a few thousand roubles.

The casualty was a student of the Kuban University of Physical Culture; and in a few days after the tragedy was to take part in competitions, the State Television and Radio Company (GTRK) "Kuban" reports.
