Fire victims in Mizur village, North Ossetia, complain about living conditions
The residents of the village of Mizur, who keep living for about eight months after the fire in temporary housing and with their relatives, complain about poor living conditions. The authorities have decided to allocate 6.1 million roubles to them.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 16 the villagers of Mizur, Alagir District of North Ossetia, were evacuated because of the spread of a forest fire. In total, 11 families left homeless. On March 19, they began providing them with temporary housing.
On November 28, a group Mizur villagers-fire victims met William Khugaev, the First Deputy of the Head of the Administration of the Alagir District, and told him that the problems of material assistance to the victims had not been addressed.
On November 29, a sitting of the republic's government adopted a resolution on a partial compensation of the damage caused by fire to Mizur villagers.
According to the resolution, 6.136 million roubles will be sent from the republic's Ministry of Finance to the administration of the Alagir District. The funds will come from the reserve fund of the Russian government, as Zurab Gabataev, a deputy chief of the Department of the Russia's Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
