Moscow: Azerbaijani native killed in a brawl

A native of Azerbaijan Ramil Ismailov died of a gunshot wound during a mass brawl in the south-west of Moscow. Two other participants of the fight, also natives of Southern Caucasus, were hospitalized with stab wounds.

According to investigators, the incident occurred in the evening on May 5 at No. 23 in Nizhnie Polya Street. The deceased, born in 1984, received gunshot wounds to his chest and right forearm, causing his death at the scene.

His father Ilham Ismailov, born in 1967, was also wounded in the throat. According to preliminary data, the natives of Azerbaijan are the owners of an auto service or a shop selling auto parts in Moscow, the APA writes.

The second victim in the fight was a citizen of Georgia. Two traumatic pistols, a shotgun and 30 various calibre rounds were found at the site of the incident. Later, the alleged participants of the brawl were detained: their Mercedes Gelandewagen car with Chechen numbers plates also contained two traumatic pistols, the "Interfax" reports, citing a source from law enforcement bodies of Moscow.

According to the Investigatory Committee, the cause of the fight was in personal hostile relationships between the parties - two groups of immigrants from the CIS countries. The criminal case was opened under the articles of "Murder" (Part 1, Article 105, of the Russian Criminal Code), "Attempted murder of two or more persons" (Part 3, Article 30, point "a", Part 2, Article 105) and "Illicit arms circulation" (Part 1, Article 222), the website of the Committee has reported today.
