In Ingushetia, health condition of wounded ex-deputy minister Khashagulgov is stably grave

Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov, Ex-Deputy Minister of Construction of the Republic of Ingushetia, who was wounded in an attempt, recovered consciousness this morning, as told by his relative Pyatimat Khashagulgova, who is his younger brother's wife.

The attempt on Khashagulgov was committed on April 10 around 3:00 p.m. Moscow time in Nazran in the "Centre-KAMAZ" District, opposite the "Metallic" Company. The bomb was planted into a pile of stones left over after repairs near the gate of the Khashagulgovs homeownership. The explosion was triggered at the moment, when Sultan-Girei got out of his to open the gate. In a grave condition the victim in the state of unconsciousness was taken to a nearby Republic's Hospital, where he was operated on.

"Sultan-Girei is in an intensive care unit. He has a lot of fragmental wounds in his face and body; his jaw was badly damaged. Doctors collected the jaw literally from pieces. When he regained consciousness, he all the timed tried to write something; however, to avoid pain shock, doctors make pain-relieving injections all the time," his woman-relative told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the doctor on duty at the Republic's Hospital, the condition of Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov is assessed by his treating physicians as stably grave.

Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov is the elder brother of Isa Khashagulgov, who is under arrest on charges of links with militants. Isa Khashagulgov refused to plead guilty. His lawyer Musa Pliev asserts that the case was fabricated.

Earlier, Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov was Deputy Minister of Construction of the Republic of Ingushetia, when the Ministry was headed by Ruslan Amerkhanov. After Amerhanov was shot dead in his office, Khashagulgov was dismissed from his post of a deputy.
