South Ossetia delivers teenager detained for border-crossing to Georgia
Yesterday, on November 10, the South-Ossetian party handed a citizen of Georgia, 15, who was detained on November 9 at crossing the border, in the official order to representatives of the Georgian MIA.
Let us remind you that the teenager was detained by Russian border guards in the village of Grom, Tskhinvali District of South Ossetia. At detention he said that he is a citizen of Georgia, living in the border village of Patara (Georgia), and that he broke the border for his everyday needs. Russian border guards handed him over to South-Ossetian power agents.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, on November 10 at midday, a 15-year-old boy was handed over to the Georgian party. "Given that the detainee was a minor, the Tskhinvali District Court decided not to bring him to criminal and administrative responsibility and let him go without any punishment," said the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia.
