Tbilisi Mayoralty evacuated because of explosion threat
After an anonymous call with a warning about a planted bomb, several hundreds of employees were evacuated from the 21-storey building of Tbilisi Mayoralty in Zhiuli Shartava Street.
The statement about the bomb planted in the Mayoralty arrived on October 19 at about 5 p.m. local time.
Mayor Gigi Ugulava, despite demands of the security, did not leave the building, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
After sappers examined all the premises of the building, it became clear that the threat was false, the "News-Georgia" reports.
