Armenia's MoD identifies officer and soldiers pictured in army violence video

All the figurants of the incident filmed and then placed on the Internet on September 11, showing violence in Armenian army, have been identified and delivered to the Military Police of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia. A criminal case was initiated.

According to the statement, widespread today by the department of information and PR of the MoD of Armenia, the inquiry is conducted by the military prosecutor's office of the Republic Armenia.

As noted by the MoD, the details of the case will be presented to the public in the near future. The names of the officer and two soldiers, whom he beat and humiliated, are not disclosed.

The video "True Face of Our Army", where young men in the uniform of Armenian armed forces are beaten and humiliated by a man undressed above the waist, supposedly, an officer, was placed on the YouTube on September 11. The video stirred up the public, who demanded investigation of all the circumstances of the incident.
