A tourist from Germany was lost in Karachai-Cherkess

In ski resort of Dombai in Karachai-Cherkess Alfred Frank, resident of Berlin aged 69, who disappeared yet on September, 7, is being searched for.

The accident was reported by the relatives of the missing man who had been having a rest together with him. According to what they say, the tourist went for a walk in the forest at the Eastern slope of Semenov-Bashi mountain and did not come back in due time.

According to ITAR-TASS, Knyazbi Kyachev, Press Secretary of the republican Ministry of Emergency Situations says that all the efforts of the rescuers in the republic are currently concentrated at the search of the tourist. Search in the mountains and water objects is being carried out by 42 rescuers from Cherkessk, Dombai, Krasnodar, Adygeia and Stavropol district, solid forces of border guard, militia, voluntary groups participate, a helicopter and dog teams have been brought into set.

RIA "Novosti" reported that Alexander Tsipkovsky, head of Karachai-Cherkess  search-and-rescue detachment, had formerly refused to predict whether there was a chance to find the tourist alive several days after saying that everyone hopes for the best and there is nothing impossible in the World.
