Akhilgov: Ingush alternative parliament rejects contacts with authorities

In Ingushetia, members of the alternative parliament - Mekhk-Kkhela - never tried to contact the republic's leadership, said Kaloy Akhilgov, press secretary of President of Ingushetia. According to Ingush oppositionist Magomed Khazbiev, the main reason for restarting the alternative parliament is that Yunus-Bek Evkurov is continuing the policy of his predecessor Murat Zyazikov.

"I heard about the 'Fair Ingushetia' and the alternative parliament; but I know nothing in particular. When it was announced I myself was interested to know about the members of the alternative parliament, but so far they had no contacts with us. Nobody has approached us with any proposals," Kaloy Akhilgov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Let us remind you that on August 24 a sitting of Ingush clans took place in Nazran, where a decision was made to restart the alternative parliament - Mekhk-Kkhela. The spokesman of the social movement "Fair Ingushetia" said that the decision has to do with the discontent of residents of Ingushetia with the policy of the republic's leadership.

Magomed Khazbiev, a well-known Ingush oppositionist and head of the movement "Fair Ingushetia", explains that the new staff of the alternative parliament Mekhk-Kkhela included members of previous convocations.

"All that will happen now - who comes and who not - will be videoed and placed on our website "ingushetiyaru.org", Mr Khazbiev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, the ruling periods of Presidents of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov and Murat Zyazikov have little difference, while the situation in the republic remains complex. "Peaceful residents are killed and kidnapped, but instead of investigations - only loud words that soon it will be all over," said the oppositionist.
