Akhilgov: access to Livejournal from Ingushetia is open since August 11

When Ingushetia blocked access to Livejournal in the Internet, people all the same reached it by means of their mobile phones; therefore, such measures are just waste of budget money, said Magomed Mutsolgov, an Ingush human rights defender.

"Now, we have access to Livejournal in Ingushetia. In general, it was all just providers' technical stupidity who failed to duly enforce the public prosecutor's ruling. As to his ruling as such, it was wrong to send it to providers; it could have been enforced together with the company-Livejournal operator. The respective decision of the Public Prosecutor's Office could have been sent to it; and access to certain blogs could have been stopped," Kaloy Akhilgov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The issue of the resource that was mentioned in the decision of the Public Prosecutor's Office has not been settled yet. As far as I know, it opens," he added.
