Count of victims of Grozny explosion goes up to six

Under updated information, the explosion triggered today in the afternoon in central Grozny wounded six persons, the regional department of the Russian ICPO reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today a land mine blew up in the centre of Grozny, and a person was wounded. Later, it was reported about two more victims.

At present, law enforcement bodies speak about six wounded persons. The power of the mine is not reported, but it is already known that it was not stuffed with striking elements, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source in republic's law enforcement bodies that an explosive device of unidentified was triggered today at about 3:00 p.m. in Dagestanskaya Street, Lenin District of Grozny, close to the "Berkat" republic's shopping centre.

"The land mine was planted by malefactors under a pavement tile near the market. Fortunately, there were no casualties," said a Chechen militia officer.
