UN to rebuild burnt-down houses in Gal District of Abkhazia

In the village of Dikhazurga, Gal District, the burnt-down houses of local residents will be rebuilt in the near future. This became known today after the regular meeting within the mechanism for prevention and reaction to incidents held in the city of Gal.

As reported by the IA "News-Georgia" with reference to the head of the information-analytical department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia, after negotiations in Gal the Georgian party was told that "the UN High Commissioner for Refugees had already sent some primary aid to suffered owners of burnt-down houses."

The incident-prevention meetings are held by the Georgian, Abkhazian and Russian parties, and officials from the European Union and the United Nations.
