Ruslan Yamadaev's murder case sent to the court

The Chief Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation has completed investigating the murder of the Hero of Russia and former State Duma Deputy Ruslan Yamadaev and attempt on Sergey Kizyun.

The criminal case against Aslanbek Dadaev and Elimpasha Khatsuev, accused of murdering Ruslan Yamadaev and attempting on Sergey Kizyun, accompanied by the bill of particulars, was sent to the Moscow City Court for consideration on the merits.

The inquiry has established that some unidentified offered money to Dadaev and Khatsuev for killing Ruslan Yamadaev. They agreed, bought automatic firearms and, moving around in a BMW-525i car, carried out visual shadowing of their future victim, studying his daily routine and routes of movement.

On September 24, 2008, they executed their criminal plan - they drove close to the Mercedes SL-600, driven by Yamadaev, which stopped at the red light at a crossing; then, Dadaev opened fire on the car, the indictment runs. After that, Khatsuev and Dadaev disappeared from the place of the incident. As a result of the received gunshot wounds Yamadaev died in situ, and Kizyun, who also was in the car, was hospitalized with heavy bodily injuries.

The criminal case against the customers of the crime was isolated into separate proceedings, as the website of the ICPO writes.
