Power agents killed in Dagestan were investigating Moscow terror acts

It became known today that the FSB agents killed on June 1 in the course of a special operation in Dagestan were engaged in searching people involved in the terror acts committed on March 29 in Moscow metro. This was reported by Alexander Bortnikov, head of the FSB, today at a press conference.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on June 1 in the outskirt of Karamakhi village, Karabudakhkent District, a short armed clash took place, where several power agents and a local resident were lost, and two more law enforcers and another local were wounded.

According to the head of the FSB, several employees of his bureau perished. "We were searching the gang involved in the Moscow metro explosions," he explained, but did not disclose any details of the special operation, saying that the public would be informed later, the ITAR-TASS reports.
