In Ingushetia, rally against kidnappings continues for the fifth day

So far, no news about the whereabouts of Mikail Pliev, a resident of Ingushetia, kidnapped on March 4 in Pyatigorsk, arrived to his relatives, as his wife Makka reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. Residents of Plievo village continue their protest near the local administration demanding to clear out Mikail Pliev's fate.

For tomorrow, March 11, the protesters are invited to President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who already visited the venue of the spontaneous rally on its first day, March 6. Evkurov's invitation was delivered to Mikail's relatives by Movlatgiri Pliev, head of the administration of Plievo.

Meanwhile, the participants of the rally note that they are permanently shadowed. "We are watched all the time; cars without number plates and tinted glasses are always nearby," said Makka Plieva.

The protesters complain that they are all the time persuaded to stop the action. "People come to us and our relatives, right to houses, asking to stop the rally. Even the village elders are sent with the mission. Pliev - the head of the village administration - is the most active persuader," said Mikail's wife.

The villagers are going to go on protesting until they know Mikail's whereabouts.

Let us remind you that Mikail Alaudinovich Pliev, born in 1977, a resident of the Plievo Municipal District of the city of Nazran, Republic of Ingushetia, disappeared under obscure circumstances in Pyatigorsk on March 4. His relatives believe that he was kidnapped by employees of special services.

On that day in the afternoon Mikail Pliev took his pregnant wife to medical examination to Pyatigorsk. He got out of his car and never came back. His wife started to look for him and found witnesses who saw how the man, looking like Mikail by description, was forced into a militia car. However, the fact of his kidnapping was not precisely established.
