Krasnodar Territory: ICPO agents search flat of Dymovskiy's advocate

In the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Territory, employees of the ICPO made a search in the flat of Sergey Gubar - Alexei Dymovskiy's advocate.

According to the statement of the press service of the Investigatory Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the ICPO, Mr Gubar is suspected of drawing nationalist graffiti on bus stops, walls of houses and fence of the Gorky Stadium. The Department has initiated a criminal case under the article of "kindling hatred, enmity or humiliation of human dignity".

As Sergey Gubar has reported, the search was made in his apartment, and also in the flats of four more townspeople suspected of the same crime. According to the lawyer, the agents confiscated his notebook computer and videocassettes, where he recorded TV programmes.

Searches were spent, in particular, also in the place where Sergey's minor son lives. This was confirmed by the lawyer himself.

"I've already filed a complaint against this search; since such actions should be undertaken only with a sanction of the territorial ICPO head," the "Yuga.Ru" Agency quotes Mr Gubar.

The "Rosbalt" adds with reference to Dymovskiy's lawyer that nationalist graffiti appeared in Slavyansk-on-Kuban back last December, while the search of his flat may have to do both with his defence of Alexei Dymovskiy's and with his nomination to the post of the district head.
